Rho Returns runs on a small automated publishing system called Project Independence — a set of purpose-built agents that handle research, writing, image generation, and publishing across multiple revenue streams.

The engine behind rhoreturns.com. Handles the full article lifecycle from content generation to live post, nightly KDP sync, and affiliate link management.
What it does:
- Generates long-form SEO articles via Claude API — budgeting, investing, debt payoff, FIRE
- Injects FTC disclosures and Amazon Associates affiliate link blocks automatically
- Generates category-matched featured images using Stability AI
- Publishes to WordPress via REST API, sets Rank Math focus keywords
- Injects internal links between related articles nightly
- Syncs KDP bookshelf data and updates link registries
- Runs only during off-peak hours (before 7AM and after 1PM CT on weekdays)

Runs the WeAllFeltThat Redbubble store — a separate print-on-demand brand built around relatable, trend-driven apparel and sticker designs.
What it does:
- Monitors trending topics via Google Trends and Reddit daily
- Generates typographic designs across 5 collections: Trending, Chronically Online, Work Humor, Faith & Inspiration, Finance Hustle
- Uses a hybrid pipeline: Stability AI SDXL backgrounds + Pillow text rendering
- Runs every design through a quality gate (contrast check, content filter, brand guidelines)
- Respects Redbubble’s recommended upload ramp schedule to protect account standing
- Queues Pinterest and X/Twitter social posts for each new design

Runs cashbackfocus.com — an independent credit card review and comparison site targeting affiliate revenue through Impact Radius and Commission Junction partnerships.
What it does:
- Generates credit card review and comparison articles via Claude API
- Creates custom hero images using Stability AI (dark navy + gold brand palette)
- Injects card comparison tables, star ratings (schema.org microdata), and pros/cons sections
- Maintains brand CSS across all published articles
- Submits new URLs to Bing IndexNow on every publish run
- Runs the visual enrichment pipeline across all articles automatically

The Governor
All three agents are managed by a lightweight Python orchestration layer called the Governor. It enforces the rules that keep the system from running away.
What it enforces:
- Off-peak scheduling only — no API calls during 7AM–1PM CT on weekdays
- Maximum one fully active write agent at a time
- Hard stops for any flagged content (violence, harmful, trademark violations)
- Daily health checks across all scripts, APIs, and account statuses
- Agent promotion gates: 3+ months of operation AND $250/mo revenue minimum before PENDING becomes ACTIVE
Scoring criteria for agent promotion:
- Revenue threshold met for 3 consecutive months
- Zero content policy violations
- Zero broken publish runs in prior 30 days
- Human review of output sample before promotion
The Governor runs locally — no server required. It uses Windows Task Scheduler for timing and Python for orchestration.
Brand Philosophy
Project Independence is built on one premise: a small, well-engineered automated system can generate real, sustainable income without requiring constant manual attention.
The agents don’t cut corners on quality. Every article goes through a full content pipeline — keyword targeting, FTC compliance, affiliate injection, image generation, internal linking — the same steps a human editor would run. The difference is consistency and scale.
The goal is simple: build systems that work reliably while I’m not watching them. Three agents, three revenue streams, one project.
